Comments on Behalf of Applicants

On Monday, May 5, the PRSA Nominating Committee will begin accepting comments on behalf of applicants. All members of PRSA and other interested individuals may provide comments about applicants via the online comments form. PRSA no longer accepts letters by mail or email. The deadline for submitting comments on behalf of all applicants is Monday, May 19, 11:59 p.m. (EDT).

Candidate Interviews and Nominations

The PRSA Nominating Committee will choose nominees for open Officer and Director positions during its June 27-29 meetings.

The nominees, along with any petitioned candidates, will be presented for approval at the PRSA Leadership Assembly on Friday, October 3.  Note: The PRSA Leadership Assembly will be held virtually for 2025.

Candidates by Petition

Article VIII - Section 5. Nomination by Petition of the PRSA Bylaws provides. Nominations of qualified candidates for election as Chair-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary or any voting directorships may also be made by petition by at least ten voting delegates of the Leadership Assembly and filed with the Secretary at the Society’s headquarters at least 30 days prior to the annual meeting of the Leadership Assembly. Immediately upon receipt of any such nominations, the Secretary shall send a notice of such nominations to all voting delegates of the Leadership Assembly.

The 2025 Leadership Assembly will take place on Friday, October 3. All petitions must be submitted by Saturday, September 3, 11:59 (ET) for consideration. The Board and the Nominating Committee deliberations are confidential. Each Committee member signs a confidentiality pledge and agrees that no information about the discussions, deliberations, decisions or votes will be disclosed at any time.
